Christina Roslyng Christiansen (born July 10, 1978 in Juelsminde , Denmark ) is a former Danish handball player . Her nickname is "Luffe", translated into German, fin.
Career
Christina started playing handball at Klarkring at the age of eleven. She then ran for HSR Hornsyld, Horsens HK , Viborg HK and KIF Kolding . From January 2005 she had to take a break due to the consequences of a back injury. During the injury break, Roslyng became pregnant, after which she interrupted her athletic career. In the summer of 2006 she continued her career with the Danish second division club SønderjyskE . From 2007 she played again with Viborg HK, where she ended her career a year later. With Viborg she collected various titles at club level, including the 1999 EHF Cup. With the Danish national handball team , the 1.69 m tall player won the 2000 Olympic Games and the 2002 European Championship .
From July 1, 2006 to 2009, she was married to Lars Christiansen . In October 2012, they announced that they were dating again. They have a son together.
Roslyng and Lars Christiansen have been training a youth team at the Danish club Klakring IF since 2017. She has been a team manager for the Danish women's national team since March 2020.
