Christine Heipertz-Stallion

Christine Heipertz-Hengst , born Hengst , married Heipertz (born March 8, 1947 in Lamspringe ), is a German sports scientist , sports therapist , riding trainer and non-fiction author .

Life

Christine Heipertz-Hengst was born as the daughter of Georg Hengst and his wife Irene, née Börner .

From 1970 to 1975 she worked at a school for the disabled in Cologne . At the same time she was a research assistant at the German Sport University Cologne from 1970 to 1973 . In 1974 the state examination for teaching followed . On November 29, 1975 she married the doctor Wolfgang Heipertz . The marriage resulted in the son Martin Heipertz and a daughter who is a veterinarian. She obtained her doctorate in sports medicine and prevention / rehabilitation in 1984 at the German Sports University in Cologne.

She is a specialist advisor to the German Equestrian Federation and member of the German Association for Therapeutic Riding (DKThR; see also Para-Equestrian ). She founded and still heads the Institute for Applied Sports Science (IAS) in Kelkheim-Münster in the Taunus . Her scientific work focuses on sports medicine , rehabilitation and prevention .

Heipertz-Hengst lectures at universities and institutions and is an active rider and amateur riding instructor.
