Christine Leboutte
Christine Leboutte (* in Brussels ) is a Belgian singer , actress and director .
Life
Christine Leboutte received classical singing lessons from Paule Daloze in Brussels . In 1991 she studied singing and vocal technique of Italian folk music with Giovanna Marini . Since 2000 she has been working with the choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui , artistic director of the Royal Flemish Ballet. She was involved in the productions of Foi , Tempus fugit and Myth and Babel (words) , a production in which Damien Jalet was also involved as a choreographer.
She was also involved as a singer in "Torobaka", a ballet and theater production by Akram Khan and Israel Galván .
