Christine Weigelt
Christine Weigelt (born December 28, 1984 in Leipzig ) is a German soccer referee . She has been a referee in the Allianz Women's Bundesliga since 2016 . She whistles for the Bundesliga soccer club RB Leipzig .
Career
Christine Weigelt has been on the DFB list since 2004, initially as an assistant. Since 2007 she has been leading games in the DFB division , in the 2nd women's division and in the DFB Cup. In the 2016/2017 season she was promoted to the Allianz Women's Bundesliga. The Leipzigerin made her debut in the game Borussia Mönchengladbach - SC Sand (0: 1) on September 11, 2016 . At the same time, Weigelt whistles men's games. Here the NOFV-Oberliga is its top division, in the Regionalliga Nordost it is on the line. The Saxon Football Association named Weigelt Saxony's referee of the year 2014 and 2016.
