Christine Wohlwend (born July 31, 1978 in Feldkirch ) is a Liechtenstein politician . From 2013 to 2017 she was a member of the Liechtenstein Parliament .

biography

Wohlwend grew up in Balzers . After primary school, she attended the Liechtenstein grammar school in Vaduz . In 1998 she made her there Matura . She studied criminology at the University of Lausanne for four years . She then worked at the German Federal Criminal Police Office in Wiesbaden in the field of forensic technology in ballistic crime scene reconstruction. After various other tasks within the Federal Criminal Police Office, most recently in the area of ​​finance and IT in the forensic department, she returned to Liechtenstein after several years.

From 2008, Wohlwend worked for the IT company Kyberna in Vaduz. There she headed the Business Controlling & Services division and was a member of the management team from 2011. In October 2012, she completed a two-year course of study at the Zurich University of Economics , a private university of applied sciences in Zurich , with a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in controlling. At the beginning of 2013 she left Kyberna and founded the company Elleta together with Elmar Hasler, who was also a former member of the Kyberna management team.

In February 2013 , Wohlwend was elected to the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein for the Progressive Citizens' Party (FBP). After the previous spokesman for the FBP, Johannes Kaiser , no longer ran for this office, Wohlwend was elected as his successor. She is a member of the FBP Presidium and is a member of the State Parliament Presidium. Wohlwend is the first woman to hold the post of parliamentary group spokesman for the FBP.

Wohlwend is single.
