Christof Neuner
Christof Neuner (born January 15, 1953 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee , Carinthia ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ).
Life
After attending elementary school and grammar school , where Christof Neuner graduated from high school in 1971 , he enrolled at the University of Innsbruck in Tyrol . Here he studied social and economic sciences , and received his doctorate in 1979 .
As a businessman , Neuner worked in his parents' company, Christof Neuner GesmbH & Co. KG , from 1980 . This had specialized in the trade in shoes, costumes and leather goods .
In 1987 Neuner was elected chairman of the Klagenfurt City Kaufmannschaft, the association of business people in the Carinthian state capital. Neuner held this position until 1997.
In April 1999 he was sworn in as a member of the Federal Council in Vienna . As a liberal Federal Councilor, he represented the interests of his home state until June 2001.
