Christof Wolff

Christof Wolff (born December 11, 1941 in Brückenau ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1984 to 2007 he was Lord Mayor of Landau in the Palatinate .

He studied law and economics at the University of Giessen and received his doctorate in 1973 from the University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer. After that he was head of department of the Bad Dürkheim district until 1975 , until 1980 personal advisor to the Rhineland-Palatinate ministers of social affairs Heiner Geißler and Georg Gölter as well as councilor of the Bergstrasse district .

From 1984 to 2007 Wolff was Lord Mayor of Landau. In addition, during this time he was active as chairman of the Rhineland-Palatinate city council , in the presidium of the German city council and as chairman of the medium-sized cities committee. In 2011 the city of Landau made him an honorary citizen .
