Christoph Andreas Zeidler

Christoph Andreas Zeidler (born June 26, 1689 in Annaberg ; † December 7, 1756 in Johanngeorgenstadt ) was a Saxon mountain master .

The son of the later miner Paul Christoph Zeidler , who later worked as a notary in Annaberg in the Erzgebirge , initially worked as a guardein , counter and review writer , before he became miner in the Saxon mountain town of Schneeberg (Erzgebirge) in 1739 . At the age of 57 he retired and went to Johanngeorgenstadt, where he died as an emeritus. The tomb of the Zeidler family has been preserved in the local cemetery to this day.

After his death he left a legacy for injured miners, their widows and children.
