Christoph Edmond Exler (born July 7, 1948 in Vienna ) is an Austrian artist.

Life

Christoph Edmond Exler studied at the Federal Higher Education and Research Institute for the Graphic Arts and the Academy for Applied Arts in Vienna. Professors Ernst and Schwarz, Herbert Tasquil and Wolfgang Hutter were among his teachers . From 1973 onwards, Exler sent to many exhibitions in Europe and the USA. Works by Exler were also shown in Korea and Japan . In 1986 he received the Theodor Körner State Prize for Fine Arts . Exler, who regularly holds book signing sessions at Café Hawelka , has organized symposia in 1989 in Vienna, Kaisersteinbruch and Wagrain. Works by Exler can be found in various public collections, including the Albertina in Vienna, the Historical Museum and the Cultural Office in Vienna, the Lower Austrian State Museum , the Austrian National Bank , the Villach Cultural Office and the Artothek Düsseldorf .
