Christoph Hinz (born November 8, 1979 ) is a former German handball player . His height is 1.93 m.

Hinz played at TSV Herrsching and TuS Fürstenfeldbruck before moving to TV Kornwestheim in 2000 . He played for Kornwestheim for six years in the 2nd Bundesliga before taking on the 2nd Bundesliga for the newly founded HBR Ludwigsburg in the 2006/07 season . Hinz left Ludwigsburg during the season in February 2007 for league competitor TV Bittenfeld . After the season he moved to the regional division TSV Deizisau. For the 2010/11 season, Hinz moved from Deizisau back to SV Salamander Kornwestheim in the major league .

Hinz was used as the left and right backcourt player.

Hinz holds a degree in sports science . He has a B license as a handball coach. Hinz works as a sports teacher in Stuttgart and lives in Ludwigsburg .
