Christoph Marx (born February 9, 1971 in Munich ) is a German historian , author , online editor , publicist and science lecturer . He works on the topics of world history, contemporary and cultural history, football, sports and media.

Life

Marx studied modern and contemporary history , political science and modern German literature at the universities of Freiburg and Berlin . He completed his studies in 2000 with a master's thesis on the shaping of the Berlin press landscape after the Second World War. It was slightly modified a year later in the ibidem publishing house under the title "Reeducation and power politics - the reorganization of the Berlin press landscape" published.

He worked as an author and editor for Brockhaus , stern , Wissen Media Verlag , Duden and the Darmstadt study group . On a private blog, he regularly publishes primarily historical articles on politics and society, personalities, football, sports and James Bond. He provides information about the German-Jewish philosopher and journalist Hannah Arendt on his website hannah-arendt.info and the Facebook page “Hannah Arendt - Work and Life”.

Christoph Marx is a member of the Association of Independent Lecturers , the Freischreiber Journalists Association , the James Bond Club Germany and VG Wort . He lives and works in Berlin.
