Christoph Poschenrieder
Christoph Poschenrieder (born June 6, 1964 near Boston ) is a German journalist and writer . He lives in Munich .
Life
Poschenrieder studied at the Jesuit University of Philosophy in Munich and attended the journalism school at Columbia University , New York. Since 1993 he has been working as a freelance journalist and writer of documentaries . His debut novel Die Welt ist im Kopf focuses on the young Arthur Schopenhauer . His other books are also often about Schopenhauer, including his novel Mauersegler (2015). It is about the journalist and philosophy professor Carl, who moves with his friends into a shared flat for the elderly, where they assist each other in euthanasia . Carl repeatedly quotes from Schopenhauer's works and has a few first editions .
