Christoph René Holler

Christoph René Holler (born October 13, 1973 in Stuttgart ) is a German association official and former politician ( CDU ). From 2003 to 2008 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament .

Life

Holler studied law at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and is admitted to the bar. Before that, he completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at Mercedes-Benz AG.

From 1993 to 2006 he was a city councilor in Kassel, where he was spokesman for youth policy, deputy parliamentary group chairman (1997-2001) and parliamentary group chairman (2001-2006). Since the state elections in Hesse in 2003 , Holler was a directly elected member of the state parliament in the constituency of Kassel-Stadt II and in the CDU state parliamentary faction from 2005 as spokesman for labor market policy. Holler ran again in the state elections in Hesse in 2008 , but lost his constituency of Kassel II to the SPD candidate Wolfgang Decker and no longer moved into the new state parliament. From 2009 to 2011 Holler was head of the collective bargaining law and collective bargaining policy department of the Federal Chemicals Employers' Association in Wiesbaden. January 2012 he became General Manager of the Bundesverband Keramische Industrie e. V. in Selb.

Other offices

Until 2006, Holler was a member of the supervisory board of the Kassel Clinic and the administrative board of Kasseler Sparkasse . He has been a member of the labor law committee of the Federation of German Employers' Associations (BDA) since 2012 and is a member of the social policy committee of the Association of Bavarian Business (vbw). He is also a member of various committees of the Federation of German Industries (BDI). In the 2017 social elections, he was elected to the assembly of representatives of the administrative professional association and the assembly of representatives of the German Pension Insurance North Bavaria.
