Christopher Jam Binnie (born January 26, 1989 in Kingston ) is a Jamaican squash player .

Career

Christopher Binnie started his professional career in 2012 and has won four tournaments on the PSA World Tour so far . He won his first title, as the first Jamaican on the World Tour, in the 2012 season. He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 65 in January 2018. At the World Games 2013 he started thanks to a wildcard and reached the second round. He participated in the Commonwealth Games in 2006 , 2010 and 2014 . Binnie won the Caribbean championships nine times by 2019 . With the Jamaican national team , he took part in the World Cup in 2017 and 2019 . In the same year he qualified for the first time for the main field of the individual world championship . The following year he became vice-pan-American champion in singles after a final defeat against Diego Elías . From 2011 to 2019 he was Jamaican champion nine times in a row.
