Chrom (spelling: CHROM) is an electro-pop band from Düren .

Act

The band was founded in 2007 by the two musicians Christian Marquis (* around 1975) and Thomas Winters (* around 1972). The band name is made up of letters from the two first names, Chr istian and Th om as. Marquis and Winters met at their place of work, the LVR-Klinik Düren .

Chrom stands for a synthesis of Synth Pop , EBM and Club Electro . You were seen several times in the opening act for the band Blutengel . In 2010 they got a contract with the record label Out of Line . Chrom often make appearances, also abroad, e.g. B. in February 2017 in Barcelona and Madrid .

Marquis was a student at the Burgau Gymnasium in Düren and lives with his family in Düren. Winters graduated from secondary school in Kreuzau and lives in Merzenich .
