Chrypiwka ( Ukrainian Хрипівка ; Russian Хриповка Chripowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Chernihiv with about 700 inhabitants (2001).

The 1611 first documentary mentioned village is located in Rajon Horodnia and forms its own district municipality to which even the villages Piwniwschtschyna ( Півнівщина ) with about 320 inhabitants and Politrudnja ( Політрудня ) include with 100 residents.

Chrypivka is located on the regional road P-13 4 km south of the district center Horodnja and 57 km northeast of the Oblast center Chernihiv , through the place flows the river Tschybrysch (Чибриж).

Personalities

In 1928, the Soviet dissident and civil rights activist, Ukrainian politician, diplomat and writer Levko Lukyanenko was born in Khrypivka .
