Sebastian Mirow

Sebastian Mirow (born February 15, 1968 in Freiburg ) is a German actor , speaker and singer .

Life

Mirow received his training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna between 1989 and 1993. From 1993 to 1997 he was engaged at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen , where he celebrated successes as Seymour in Der kleine Horrorladen and in Peter Pan (as Peter Pan). This was followed by guest contracts at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz Berlin, the Staatstheater Darmstadt , the Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Bremen Shakespeare Company , the Theater Freiburg , the Staatstheater Wiesbaden and the Stadttheater Bern . From 1992 to 1995 he worked at the Salzburg Festival with the directors Andrzej Wajda, Peter Stein and Luca Ronconi. At the Stadttheater Klagenfurt , Sebastian Mirow played alongside Hans Christian Rudolph in his last role in Waiting for Godot , directed by Frank Asmus.

He also played in various television films, including a. as Commissioner in Glückskind by Michael Verhoeven . Sebastian Mirow has been a regular guest at the Baden-Baden Theater since 2004 and has been a permanent member of the ensemble since 2006. His roles here include a. the title role in Cyrano de Bergerac , Karl Moor in Die Räuber by Friedrich Schiller, Wladimir in Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett and the title role in Faust I by Goethe. Sebastian Mirow has been working for SWR and arte since 2006 as a speaker, u. a. as a narrator in the audio book Die Engel by Sidi Moumen by Mahi Binebine as part of the ARD theme week Tolerance.

In the winter semester of 2008–2009, Sebastian Mirow held a teaching position for acting at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding . Since 2009 Mirow has played in the SWR series Die Fallers , which takes place on the Fallerhof in the Black Forest , where he grew up.
