Chuchra ( Ukrainian and Russian Хухра ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Sumy Oblast with about 2000 inhabitants (2001).

The village, which was founded in the second half of the 17th century, has been part of the rural municipality of Tschernschtschyna in the south of Okhtyrka Rajon since December 2017 .

Chuchra is located at an altitude of 110  m at the mouth of the 31 km long Chuchra ( Хухра ), in the Vorskla , 15 km south of the community center Tschernetschtschyna , 15 km south of the Rajonzentrum okhtyrka and 90 km south of the Oblastzentrum Sumy . With the 4591.6 hectare Hydrological Protected Area Khukhryanskyj ( Гідрологічний заказник "Хухрянський" Hidrolohitschnyj sakasnyk "Kuchryanskyi" ) is one of the largest nature reserves of the Sumuna Oblast and is dominated by reservoirs and is dominated by reservoirs and is dominated by reservoirs of the Sumuna Oblast.
