The Chulitna River is an approximately 140 km long tributary of Lake Clark in southwestern Alaska .
The Chulitna River rises 60 km west of Lake Clark at an altitude of 270 m . It flows with numerous meanders in a predominantly eastern direction. It flows through Lake Nikabuna . Below the confluence of the Long Lake outflow , the Koksetna River meets the river from the left. This finally flows into Turner Bay on the northwest shore of Lake Clark. The Chulitna River drains an area of 3000 km². The mean discharge 10 km above the mouth is 54 m³ / s.
