The Cima Scotoni is the 2874  m high west shoulder of the Middle Fanisspitze ( 2989  m ) in the Fanes group , a subgroup of the Dolomites , and is known for its striking southwest face with its extreme climbing routes. It is located in South Tyrol in the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park . Directly below the wall is the Lagazuoisee and a little to the west of it the Scotonihütte .

In the southwest face, the Lacedelli route (VI + A1 or VIII, 1952 with L. Ghedina, G. Lorenzi) is one of the climbing classics in the Dolomites. Other routes on the Cima Scotoni are Skotonata Galactica (IX +, B. Tassi, GB Calloni and I. Zanetti 1994), Sorcerer's Apprentice (IX, Christoph Hainz 1990), Direttissima Dibona (IX-), Waffenlos (IX-) and Hyperscotoni (VIII ).
