The Lagazuoisee ( Italian Lago Lagazuoi , Ladin Lech de Lagaciò ) is a mountain lake in the Dolomites in South Tyrol , Italy . It is a protected natural monument and part of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park .

The lake is located around kilometers east-southeast of St. Kassian , and 500 meters as the crow flies east-southeast of the Scotonihütte in Abtei on Dolomitenhöhenweg No. 1 and on hiking trail No. 20, which leads from the Capanna Alpina via the Scotonihütte to the eponymous Lagazuoi . The striking rock face of the 2650 m high Seespitze rises above the lake. The small, fish-rich lake 550 meters west of the border between South Tyrol and the province of Belluno is a popular destination for hikers and mountaineers.
