Clémentine Delauney (born February 11, 1987 in Lyon ) is a French metal singer from Lyon. She sings in the soprano voice .

Life

From the end of 2010 to the beginning of 2012, she was the singer of the French symphonic metal band Whyzdom . left.

Delauney was a background singer with the Austrian symphonic metal band Serenity and was introduced as a permanent member in 2013. However, she left the band after the album War of Ages . She then became a permanent singer with Visions of Atlantis . She was also heard on The Great Lie by the opera metal band Melted Space.

In 2017 Delauney founded the band Exit Eden with three other singers from the rock / metal scene : Amanda Somerville (Avantasia, Trillium, HDK) and Marina La Torraca, who replaced Somerville in some shows during the festival season of the Avantasia world tour 2016, as well as a newcomer Anna Brunner. The band was conceived with the plan "to show the world that classic hits can be turned into edgy rock numbers," a concept that is similar to the Finnish Northern Kings .

The tracklist of her debut album Rhapsodies in Black includes some pop hits like Madonna's Frozen , Adeles Skyfall and Lady Gaga's Paparazzi . The release date was August 4th, 2017 via Napalm Records .

In 2018, the fourth album by Visions of Atlantis followed, in which she participated not only as a singer, but also as the main songwriter together with singer Siegfried Samer.
