Clarques ( Flemish : Klarke ) is a village and a commune déléguée in the municipality of Saint-Augustin in northern France with 310 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

With effect from January 1, 2016, it was merged with the former municipality of Rebecques to form Commune nouvelle Saint-Augustin . The municipality of Clarques belonged to the arrondissement of Saint-Omer and the canton of Fruges (until 2015: canton of Aire-sur-la-Lys ).

geography

Clarques is about eleven kilometers south of Saint-Omer and about 28 kilometers northwest of Béthune . The A26 car route leads along the village .
