Claude Nollier (born December 26, 1919 in Paris - † February 12, 2009 ) was a French actress.

Life

Claude Nollier, a member of the Comédie-Française from 1946 to 1951 , is best known as a stage actress. Her Jeanne d'Arc in Jeanne d'Arc au book by Paul Claudel and Arthur Honegger , which she played at the Paris Opera , is legendary . In the cinema she worked with directors such as André Cayatte , John Huston , Sacha Guitry and Julien Duvivier . Her best-known film lead role is that of the defendant Elsa Lundenstein in Cayatte's jury trial (1950).
