Claudia Gärtner

Claudia Gärtner (* 1971 in Arnsberg ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

She studied Catholic theology, art and education (sec. I / II) at the University of Paderborn (1990–1993 / 1994–1996) and Catholic theology at the Center Sèvres (1993–1994). She passed the first state examination in 1996 in art and Catholic theology. From 1997 to 2001 she completed a doctoral degree in Catholic theology at the University of Münster . From 1997 to 2001 she was a research assistant at the chair for systematic theology and its didactics as well as the "Office for Christian Image Theory, Theological Aesthetics and Image Didactics" at the University of Münster. After completing her doctorate in systematic theology in Münster (2001), she was a trainee teacher at the Münster study seminar (2001–2002). The second state examination in art / cath. She passed religion sec. I / II in 2002. From 2002 to 2011 she was a student councilor i. K. at the Collegium Johanneum . From 2006 to 2011 she was a seconded lecturer at the Chair for Systematic Theology and its Didactics, Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Münster. After completing her habilitation in 2010 in religious education / didactics of systematic theology, she was appointed private lecturer at the University of Münster. Since 2011 she has been teaching as a professor for practical theology at the TU Dortmund . She declined calls to the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (2011) / Universität Bonn (2016).
