Clayton Moore
Clayton Moore (born Jack Carlton Moore on September 14, 1914 in Chicago , Illinois , † December 28, 1999 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor.
He became famous mainly by the role of the Lone Ranger , which he in the series The Lone Ranger embodied and in two feature films, most recently even in an episode of the television series Lassie from 1959. Especially for the role of the Lone Ranger was Moore at 5 June 1987 honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame . The star's inscription reads Clayton Moore - The Lone Ranger .
Clayton Moore died of a heart attack at the age of 85 . His grave is in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale . He was married four times.
