Cleiton Sia

Cleiton Sia (born 1990 in Brazil ), also known as Clayton Sia , is a Brazilian musical actor , dancer, singer and performer. Under the stage name Oxa he appears as a drag queen .

Life

Sia claims that she grew up as a foster and adopted child on a farm in Taquarituba, around 300 km from the Brazilian city of São Paulo . As a dancer, he has mastered classical ballet , modern dance , hip-hop , Latin and acrobatics . He has lived and worked in Germany since 2015.

In 2019, Sia declared itself to be gender fluid , not just male or just female. "I am a man, I am a woman, I am transgender, I am a performer, a dancer and a singer!", He said as "Oxa" about himself.

Career

In 2011, Sia took second place in the Brazilian TV dance show "Se Ela Dança, Eu Danço", an offshoot of the show "So You Think You Can Dance" developed by Simon Fuller . The following year he won the national dance competition "¡Q'Viva !: The Chosen". He then performed as a background dancer for Jennifer Lopez in Las Vegas for six months .

Oxa

Since 2018, Sia has also appeared as drag queen “Oxa” at the “Animal Zircuz” party series on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg.

In January 2019 he won the annual junior competition of the Hamburg travesty theater Pulverfass Cabaret as "Oxa" .

In October 2019 Oxa made it to the semifinals of " The Voice of Germany ".
