Clemens Haudum

Clemens Haudum (born July 26, 1978 in Linz ) is an Austrian - German singing teacher , choir director and artistic director of the Tölzer Boys Choir .

Life

In his childhood Haudum was supported by his grandmother Hedwig Haudum (1920–1990), who was a recognized composer . He studied music education at the Salzburg Mozarteum . After studying to be a teacher in Latin and a theological training , he worked as a teacher, among others, at schools in Freilassing and Salzburg , where he taught the children's and youth choirs at Salzburg Cathedral . He also completed training in choral conducting and Gregorian chant .

Haudum has received several awards for his performance on the accordion and piano . He also had various successes as a soloist in the bass range .

In September 2006 he joined the Tölzer Knabenchor as a voice trainer and choir director, and he has been its artistic director with Christian Fliegner since autumn 2014 . 2017 doctorate Haudum at the University of Salzburg Dr. Phil, his dissertation dealt with a work by Florian Reichssiegel .
