occupation

Cleopatra is a porn film from the Private Media Group .

action

The film begins in the year 51 BC, in Alexandria with Cleopatra and Julius Caesar . After an hour there is a cut to the year 2003, in which some scientists from the Astra Corporation are trying to get a DNA sample from Cleopatra's mummy in a pyramid in order to resurrect Cleopatra. The reason for this is supposed to be the extreme love life of the Egyptian Pharaoh, which is said to be Cleopatra's and which is shown in detail in the first half.

Awards

  • 2003: Venus Award - Best Film Europe
  • 2003: Empire Award - Best Foreign Language Film DVD
  • 2004: AVN Award - Best Director - Foreign language publication

useful information

The film was shot on the Egyptian locations Pyramiden , Nile , Cairo , Luxor . The plot only plays with the names of the protagonists and only uses the historical background as a backdrop. The film has nothing to do with real historical characters. Cleopatra was neither buried in a pyramid, nor was she mummified as a Greek.

For the film, the production company created its own elaborately designed website for the first time, where detailed information about the film and the actors could be accessed. In terms of effort and design, the site is similar to that of normal film productions.

The director also shot The Private Gladiator (2002).

continuation

Cleopatra II - Legend of Eros is a true sequel to the story, again directed by Antonio Adamos and starring Julia Taylor as Cleopatra.
