The Coinon (also called Couanon or Couasnon ) is a river in France that runs in the Eure-et-Loir department in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the extreme southwest of the municipality of Thimert-Gâtelles , generally drains west to southwest and after 22 kilometers flows into the Eure as a left tributary at the municipal boundary of Lèves and Chartres .
