Career

Colin Räbiger started with handball at VfL Wanfried. He came to HC Bremen via ThSV Eisenach in 2010, where he last played in the A-Jugend-Bundesliga . In addition, he ran on during his time in Bremen due to a double playing right for the third division VfL Edewecht . For the 2013/14 season, the 2.07 meter tall handball goalkeeper moved to the first division club MT Melsungen , where he signed a two-year contract. Räbiger made his Bundesliga debut on March 16, 2014 in Melsung's 30:25 away win against VfL Gummersbach . He also had a second game right for GSV Eintracht Baunatal , where he played together with his brother Phil Räbiger . In July 2014, the contract with MT was terminated at Räbiger's request. Then Räbiger joined the second team from GWD Minden . In November 2016 he received a second game right for third division HSG Burgwedel, which signed him from 2017. In the summer of 2018, he was loaned to the upper division TuS Vinnhorst.

Räbiger is also a beach handball player, he competes here for the Northern Lights from Oldenburg and is a member of the national beach handball team . With the national team, he narrowly missed the semi-finals at the 2019 European Championships in Stare Jabłonki and ended up in sixth place with the German team.
