The Collins Peak is a 1,810 m high mountain peak in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises on the eastern edge of the Malta Plateau in the Victory Mountains at the confluence of the Hand and Line glaciers .
It was mapped using the United States Geological Survey and aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy between 1960 and 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1970 after Eric J. Collins, a biologist at Hallett Station from 1965 to 1966 .
