The women's singles in squash at the Commonwealth Games 2018 took place from April 5th to 9th, 2018. The field of participants consisted of 35 players. The winner of the competition in 2014 , Nicol David , started the tournament in third place. She was eliminated in the semifinals against Joelle King and lost in the subsequent bronze match to Tesni Evans , who had defeated the top seed Laura Massaro in the quarterfinals , with 7:11, 11: 3, 10:12 and 7:11. King prevailed against Sarah-Jane Perry in the final with 16:14, 11: 8, 6:11, 11:13 and 11: 8.
