The Communauté de communes Neste Baronnies is a former French community association with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region . It was founded on December 20, 1994 and comprised 15 parishes. The administrative seat was in La Barthe-de-Neste . The community association was named after the river Neste and the landscape of the baronnies .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

  • Communauté de communes du Plateau de Lannemezan et des Baïses and
  • Communauté de communes des Baronnies

and so formed the successor organization Communauté de communes du Plateau de Lannemezan .
