The Communauté de communes du Grand Langres (before 2017) is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region . It was founded on December 21, 2012 and comprised 34 parishes. The administrative seat was in Langres .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2013 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

  • Communauté de communes de l'Étoile de Langres and
  • Communauté de communes de la Région de Neuilly-l'Évêque

with the involvement of individual other communities.

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes du Bassigny and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes du Grand Langres . Despite having the same name as the previous organization, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.
