The Communauté de communes du Haut Anjou is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It was founded on December 31, 1996 and comprised ten parishes. The administrative seat was in Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes des Vallées du Haut-Anjou . At the same time, the municipalities of Brissarthe , Champigné , Contigné , Cherré , Marigné , Querré and Sœurdres united to form the Commune nouvelle Les Hauts-d'Anjou .
