Historical development
- With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Montier-en-Der and Robert-Magny were merged to form a Commune nouvelle under the name La Porte du Der .
- Likewise, the former municipalities of Droyes , Longeville-sur-la-Laines , Louze and Puellemontier were merged to form a commune nouvelle under the name Rives Dervoises .
These measures reduced the number of member communities to eight.
With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged
- Communauté de communes de la Vallée de la Marne and
- Communauté d'agglomération Saint-Dizier, Der et Blaise (before 2017)
and thus formed the successor organization Communauté d'agglomération Saint-Dizier, Der et Blaise . Despite the same name, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.
