The Communauté d'agglomération Saint-Dizier, Der et Blaise (before 2017) is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a communauté d'agglomération in the departments of Haute-Marne and Marne in the Grand Est region . It was founded on December 20, 2013 and comprised 39 parishes. The administrative seat was in the city of Saint-Dizier . The specialty lay in the cross-departmental structure of the municipalities.

Historical development

The predecessor organization Communauté de communes de Saint-Dizier, Der et Perthois , which was founded in 2000, was renamed Communauté de communes Saint-Dizier, Der et Blaise in 2013 after the addition of 30 further municipalities and became a legal form with effect from January 1, 2014 Communauté d'agglomération transformed.

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

and thus formed the successor organization Communauté d'agglomération Saint-Dizier, Der et Blaise . Despite the same name, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.
