Conrad Langerfeldt

Conrad Hermann Friedrich Langerfeldt (born August 5, 1840 in Wolfenbüttel , † July 7, 1913 in Braunschweig ) was district director, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Langerfeldt attended high school in Wolfenbüttel and the universities of Heidelberg from 1859 to 1861 and Göttingen to 1863. In 1860 he became a member of the Corps Vandalia Heidelberg . After passing state legal examinations, he was first mayor of Seesen from 1868 to 1871, then employed in the state administration services of the Duchy of Braunschweig, employed by various authorities. He was district director in Helmstedt since January 1, 1887 and in Braunschweig since November 1, 1895. He was also a member of the state assembly of the Duchy of Braunschweig and its vice-president. He was also a member of the regional synod of the Duchy of Braunschweig and its president. He was awarded the Commander's Cross II of the Brunswick Order of Henry the Lion and the 1870/71 Stahl war memorial .

From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Duchy of Braunschweig  1 ( Braunschweig , Blankenburg ).
