Conrad Niederer

Conrad Niederer (born December 26, 1867 in Wald , † September 6, 1925 in Hamburg ; legal resident in Lutzenberg ) was a Swiss businessman and entrepreneur from the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden .

Life

Conrad Niederer was the son of Bartholome Niederer, fitter , and Anna Katharina Schläpfer. He married Elise Bornholt, daughter of Hans Jörgen Bornholt.

Niederer first attended schools in Wald and also contributed to the family's livelihood with thread and embroidery . After a baker - teaching in St. Gallen , he worked as a baker's assistant. Thanks to the mediation of a friend was Niederer Packer and streamers in Herisauer embroidery company Zähner & Schiess & Companie , where he is by intensive self-study a respected businessman giving further training . In 1891 he moved to Guatemala , where he became the owner of an important trading company. In 1912 he settled in Zurich .
