Conrad Werner Wedemeyer

Conrad Werner Wedemeyer (* 1662 in Lauenstein ; † February 17, 1732 ) was the British and Brunswick-Lüneburg Oberamtmann in Lauenstein , Erb- and Burgsasse in Eldagsen , Lord on Gleina , Herrengosserstedt and Billroda .

He was born as the son of Werner Wedemeyer , heir to the Untergut Eldagsen am Deister and Katharina Maria von Horn, in 1695 bailiff in Lauenstein. He was married to Catharina Magdalena Voigt, the eldest daughter of Johann Georg Voigt; Bailiff to Ricklingen.

In 1701 he had a white fine glass factory built in Osterwald , which produced Lauensteiner glass and existed until 1824. In 1717 he resigned from the electoral service and withdrew to his Saxon estates. In that year Wedemeyer combined the three estates (originally eleven vacant settlements) in Gleina - through further acquisitions - to form the Gleina manor . In 1719 he received Anhalt feudal letters about fiefs in Kirchscheidungen and in 1721 bought the manor Nebra and Birkigt and in 1721 the manor Burgscheidungen .

From 1715 to 1717 he leased the Straussberg office . In 1715 he bought most of the Herrengosserstedt manor .

As early as October 1722, the Oberamtmann Conrad Werner Wedemeyer sold again castle divisions and church divisions, in 1724 the manor Gleina, the castle and manor Nebra, Birkigt with buildings and outbuildings and all inventory, the associated villages of Wetzendorf, Großwangen, Wippach , Altenroda and in 1730 the manor Herrengosserstedt and the manor Billroda.
