Constantin Nica (born March 18, 1993 in Afumați , Ilfov County ) is a Romanian football player . The full-back has been under contract with Atalanta Bergamo in the Italian Serie A since summer 2013 and has been loaned out to Dinamo Bucharest in the 2017/18 season.

Career

Nica started playing football at Dinamo Bucharest at the age of six . There he went through all youth teams before his first appearances in the second team, which played in League II at the time, came in the 2010/11 season . On May 5, 2012 he made his debut for Dinamo in League 1 in a 0-1 win against CFR Cluj on the starting line-up. When his team won the cup final in 2012 , he was not used.

After he had been on Dinamo's starting line-up in around half of the games in the 2012/13 season , Nica left the club in the summer of 2013 and joined the Italian first division club Atalanta Bergamo . After seven appearances in the 2013/14 season , he was loaned out to promoted AC Cesena for a year in the summer of 2014 . There he usually had to sit on the bench and only came to eight missions. In the summer of 2015, Atalanta awarded him to US Avellino 1912 in Serie B for one year . He played there regularly in the first half of the 2015/16 season, but was only a substitute player in the second half of the season . After his return, Atalanta arranged a new loan deal in the summer of 2016. In the 2016/17 season he played for second division US Latina , in the 2017/18 season he was loaned to Dinamo Bucharest.

National team

Nica played his first international match for the Romanian national team on August 14, 2013 when he came on as a substitute for Alexandru Mățel in the friendly against Slovakia in the 71st minute .
