Constantin Klaus Alexander von Oesterreich (born April 22, 1953 in Hamburg ) is a German bank manager . From October 2012 to June 2016, he was CEO of HSH Nordbank .

Life

Constantin von Oesterreich is a son of the Hamburg import-export merchant Constantin von Oesterreich, the older brother of the actor Axel von Ambesser .

In 1973 Constantin von Oesterreich began an apprenticeship as a banker at Deutsche Bank in Hamburg . After completing his apprenticeship, he held various positions at Deutsche Bank in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Singapore and London. Since 1987 he has worked in risk management for the institute.

Constantin von Oesterreich was appointed to the bank's board of directors as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for three years on November 1, 2009 on the recommendation of the then chairman of the HSH Nordbank Supervisory Board, Hilmar Kopper . He has been the bank's CEO since November 1, 2012.

With effect from September 2, 2019, Constantin von Oesterreich was appointed as the new CEO of Südwestbank. In his new role at Südwestbank, von Oesterreich will concentrate on the areas of asset management, corporate customers, personal, private banking & treasury. The executive committee of Südwestbank consists of three members: Constantin von Oesterreich, Jochen Sautter and Sebastian Firlinger.

Constantin von Oesterreich was born with the bank manager Bettina von Oesterreich . married by Scheven.
