Franz Theodor August Constantin Renz , from 1897 von Renz , (born December 19, 1839 in Stuttgart , † April 14, 1900 in Ellwangen ) was a Württemberg governor .

After the Latin school in Marbach and the Lyceum in Ludwigsburg, Constantin Renz attended the Protestant theological seminar in Urach from 1853 to 1857 . From the winter semester of 1858 he studied criminal sciences at the University of Tübingen , where he became a member of the Scotland team . In 1861 he passed the first and in 1862 the second higher service examination.

He began his professional career as an actuary from 1862 to 1866 at the Oberamt Backnang and from 1866 to 1870 at the Oberamt Nürtingen . From 1870 to 1872 he was a collegiate assistant in the government of the Jagstkreis in Ellwangen and from 1872 to 1874 he was a government assessor in the government of the Black Forest in Reutlingen. From 1874 to 1878 he headed the Crailsheim Oberamt and from 1878 to 1883 the Ellwangen Oberamt . He then worked as a councilor at the government of the Danube District in Ulm and as a senior councilor at the Württemberg Administrative Court in Stuttgart. From 1895 to 1890 von Renz was the district president of the Jagstkreis in Ellwangen.

Renz was married to a baroness von Seeger. Her daughter Eugenie married the law professor Eduard Kern .
