Constanze Angerer
Constanze Angerer (born December 4, 1943 ) is a German judge and public prosecutor a. D. From 2001 to 2008 she was president of the district court in Munich. In 2012 she was appointed to the German Ethics Council.
Professional background
In 1972, after completing her law studies, Angerer joined the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice , where she worked in various departments, most recently as deputy head of the criminal law department.
Constance Angerer was a judge at the Bavarian Supreme Court, since 1998 presiding judge at the Higher Regional Court of Bamberg and was appointed as a professional judge at the Bavarian Constitutional Court. From 2001 until her retirement in 2008, Angerer was President of the Munich I Regional Court .
Constanze Angerer was married to Hans Angerer , who died in 2012 .
Memberships
Constanze Angerer was on the board of the Bavarian State Association of the German Child Protection Association. From 1985 to 1998 she was involved with her husband Hans Angerer on the board of the Maximilianeum for gifted children and was a board member of the Munich Legal Society. In 2011 she was elected deputy chairwoman of the newly founded association for the NS Documentation Center (Munich) . Constanze Angerer has been a member of the German Ethics Council since 2012.
Awards
Constanze Angerer was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon in 1999. In 2010 she received the Bavarian Order of Merit .
