Coralie Demay (born October 10, 1992 in Elven ) is a French cyclist.

Athletic career

Coralie Demay started cycling at the age of eight to "let off steam" as she later said herself. When her father, a professional soldier, was transferred to Togo , she took a “break”. After the family returned to France, she resumed cycling at the age of 15.
She is trained by Gaël Le Bellec and in addition to cycling, she trained in chemistry. In 2011 she stood on the podium for the first time in French championships and came third in the points race .

In 2014 Demay started at the European Railway Championships in Guadeloupe and thus for the first time in an international elite competition. She finished fourth with the French four-man from Margot Dutour , Roxane Fournier and Pascale Jeuland . In 2016 she became French team pursuit champion together with Eugénie Duval, Jeuland and Fournier. At the first round of the Track Cycling World Cup in Glasgow in 2016/17 , she finished third in the team pursuit with Fournier, Laurie Berthon and Élise Delzenne and second in the two-man team event with Berthon.

In 2017, Coralie Demay won five national titles in single pursuit , scratch , points race, omnium and team pursuit (with Marie Le Net , Maryanne Hinault , Typhaine Laurance and Lucie Jounier ). In September she won the Tour d'Irlande . In 2018 she won three more national titles on the track and fifth overall on the Tour of Chongming Island on the road .
