Marie Le Net (born January 25, 2000 in Pontivy ) is a French cyclist who competes in races on track and road .

Athletic career

In 2016 Marie Le Net became three-time French youth champion. In the following year, she won bronze in the team pursuit at the Junior World Track Championships with Laura Da Cruz , Clara Copponi and Valentine Fortin . In addition, with Coralie Demay , Maryanne Hinault , Typhaine Laurance and Lucie Jounier, she became French champion in the elite team pursuit and national junior champion in the individual time trial on the road.

As a result, Le Net was nominated for the UCI Track World Championships 2018 in Apeldoorn . In the same year she won at the Junior World Track Championships with Victoire Berteau the title awarded for the second time among the juniors in two-man team driving . Later that year she took silver in the junior road race at the road world championships.

For 2019 Marie Le Net received her first contract with a UCI Women's Team at FDJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine Futuroscope .

Miscellaneous

In 2016, Marie Le Net was voted Morbihan's “Cyclist of the Year” . In 2018 she graduated from high school .
