Anthony Guy Corey Fisher (born April 8, 1988 in New York City ) is an American basketball player . Since the 2012/13 season, Fisher has been under contract with the Russian club BK Jenissei Krasnoyarsk .
college
Fisher began playing basketball in the Bronx . After high school at St. Patrick High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey , he played for the Villanova Wildcats of Villanova University during college . He was named Sixth Man of the Year in the Big East Conference in 2010 . The next year he was elected to the Third Team All-Big East.
professional
After Fisher was not selected in the 2011 draft, he went to Turkey, Antalya . After a year in Turkey, he moved to Joventut in Spain . Since the 2012/13 season he has been playing for BK Yenisei Krasnoyarsk in Russia.
National team
Corey Fisher received Georgian citizenship in 2012 and played some games for Georgian national basketball team , although he never played for a Georgian club.
