Piper Joy Curda (born August 16, 1997 in Tallahassee , Florida ) is an American actress and singer who became famous for her role as Jasmine in the television series I Didn't Do It (2014-2015).

life and career

Piper Curda was born in Tallahassee , Florida , in August 1997 and grew up in Chicago . She is the daughter of a brigadier general in the US Army and has four siblings. Along with her older sister, she was in the musical The King and I to see. At the age of twelve she played Roly-Poly in the musical for 101 Dalmatians . In 2011, she had a lead role as Casey in the Rule the Mix web series , available on Disney.com. Before that, she had made several guest appearances on television series, including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , Body of Proof, and Malibu Country , as well as a recurring role on the Disney sitcom ANT: Attention Nature Talents . In June 2013, Piper was selected to star in the Disney series It Wasn't It , which has aired since January 2014. In 2014, she also made a guest appearance on the Disney series Liv and Maddie . In 2015 she took on a supporting role in the Disney Channel Original Movie Teen Beach 2 , the sequel to Teen Beach Movie .

In addition to acting, Curda is also a singer. Their first single, Losing You , was released on January 15, 2014. The accompanying music video was released two weeks later.
