Randy Cunningham: The ninja from the 9th grade (Original title: Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja ) is an American Flash - animation series by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas.
It is produced by Titmouse, Inc. and Boulder Media Limited , among others . Many of the character designs were provided by Jhonen Vasquez , the inventor of Invader Zim . After a pilot episode on August 13, 2012, the series began regular airing on September 17, 2012 on Disney XD in the United States .

800 years ago, an evil wizard almost managed to rule the earth. Since then he has been held captive underground. But now there are new dangers and evil forces are trying to usurp world domination. To prevent this, a Norrisville High School student is secretly trained as a ninja every four years. This should then prevent the evil villains from conquering the earth. When teenage boy Randy Cunningham discovers he has been chosen to be Norrisville's new ninja, he and best friend Howard go into battle against the evil Hannibal McFist.

He often tries to find out new things about his ninja suit through the book "Das Ninja-Nomicon". Randy and Howard are also in a band called "30 Seconds to Math," a parody of the band " 30 Seconds to Mars ". Randy might be a good singer. He is not very intelligent and tends to ignore the good advice of the ninja nomicon. He often misuses his powers and weapons for silly jokes, such as B. for smoke bombs. It also seems like he's in love with Theresa Fowler.

- Is a mad scientist. He is responsible for any robots that attack Randy. As McFist's chief scientist, he doesn't care much about money or power. He just wants everyone to appreciate his genius. In the episode "Monster Trash" it turns out that he has a single-celled animal named Nicholas.
- Heidi Weinerman
- Is Howard's older sister. She is tall, beautiful and very popular. The episode "Friendship" shows that she is a talented singer. She often calls Randy by false names that rhyme with Randy.
- Theresa Fowler
- Is a Norrisville High School student interested in twirling . She's also in love with Randy.
- Debby Kang
- Is a A student who is very fond of Mexican death bears because she thinks they are very cute. Thanks to a CD, she can also speak fluent Spanish.

- Is a student at Norrisville High School and the leader of "Dancing Fish".
- Marci McFist
